London by bus...

I took the bus to London for the first time today! An 9 hours journey but I have to say it was totally fine! Those new buses are quite comfy, you get free WIFI and you have plugs on each seat! so if you have loads of movies and some emails to tackle it's perfect! But the best thing about it really, is that the tickets are really cheap even if you book last minute.
Now I'm safe and sound in the home of my best friends in Dalston. This is our last time here together enjoying the coziness of their flat cause next week they'll be moving into a new house. That's so exciting, I'm so happy for them for finding a place of their own where they can write a whole new chapter!
The 3 of us caught the flu so the next couple of days til NYE will be spent staying in, eating, singing and sleeping and I'm really looking forward to it! hehe! Then we'll be ready for the mad party that's cooking for monday! GYPSY HOTEL!!!

Cabaret Electrique!!

This weekend was a blast, performing with the Cirque Electrique family is always the best fun! I love them so much and I'm so thankful to be part of such an amazing team of creative people.
And what a blessing to be performing my black light magic act with the band live..
Thank you Degurutieni for trusting me and for inspiring me so much!
We did a new improvised act together, the song is called Whisky and is another gem I'm putting in my list of favorite songs!

I can't describe this feeling of lightness in my heart tonight, I feel so lucky for having such amazing people around me... exciting projects to look forward to, I don't know if if's due to the magic hands of my osteopath but I feel so much different suddenly... I'm dancing in my head, my heart's fluttering and I can't wait for...something..yes, something to happen, something so wonderful...I just wanna laugh now. Weird.
Oh, and thank you Yannou for putting so many cool music on my computer..I'm discovering lil gems...maybe that's it! Music is the key...Good night.. Haaaaaa....

Note: I'm a "big city" girl. living in a developed environment. I don't refer to the world as a whole fucked system (even though I'm tempted). I'm aware there is places where giving would be so welcome and gratefully accepted. Unfortunately (or luckily?) I'm spoiled, we're spoiled, and we just don't give a damn fuck. I just wanna remind myself to care more about myself before caring for other spoiled dead head. And yes, I'm inventing my own way of expressing what's in my head and how I feel. I throw words exactly how they come to my mind.
So I guess It doesn't matter if  I don't make sense to  most of the brave readers here. After all, this is a lil reminder to myself right?..

The Berber session with Giliane Che!...

This last sunday, I did a photoshoot with my friend and talented photographer Giliane Che teamed up with my friend Celine Regnard who's an incredible Make up artist. My artistic direction was a bit messy , so believe me those two really did a magical work considering all the different references I gave them just the day before. What would you do with informations such as: "think dark Fela kuti with a bit of tattoos from the Berber tribes and the Wodaabe tribes in a Theda bara spirit.." and at the same time illustrations of russian Vania Zouravliov was shown to you? Exactly. They nailed it!
This is just a sneak peek of the session, the result of the hard (and fun) work of 3 ladies locked in a flat /studio on a rainy sunday.
Thank you Giliane and Celine for helping me, turning my crazy ideas into reality and make them look even better.
