Lindy Hop hop hop!...

Yesterday I took my first class of Lindy hop!
It was really fun. I volunteered to be one of the male partners as there wasn't enough men for all the ladies who was there! hehe! I think I did quite well..
It's going to be hard for me to go back to the girl's steps again cause my friend who I'm supposed to be taking the class with will only be back at the end of the month! Til then I will have learned all the men's steps and especially how to lead a partner! what a surprise for him! Hmmm...I'm not sure he'll be willing to learn the girl's moves. haha!
But it's all fine, I just need to be twice more focused during class. And integrate both male and female moves. It's time for me to be more attentive.
Anyway... this is something I've always wanted to learn. I have some good bases in swing dancing and I've always wanted to learn more acrobatics to include some fun tricks in a routine.
So this is all for future new acts! I'm excited and looking forward to next week!

And maybe my friend and I will be able to do some crazy stunts like these awesome dancers. They're insane!

Wodaabe: Herdsmen of the sun...

 This documentary by Werner Herzog made such an impression on me when I watched it a few weeks ago...I was totally blown away and still am..since, I've been trying to gather as much informations as I can about this beautiful tribe.

Good ending to an awesome day spent with Alex, one of my favorite persons on this planet, wandering through the maze of the market, eating some delicious chinese food while listening to some reggae and  dub blasted from a rasta shop. (This spot is perfect, I think it's going to be our little office!)
Planning our future collaborations and enjoying one of the last sunny summer days..being spoilt and spoiling.
I feel so lucky to know such an amazing person. He's so much fun, cracks me out constantly. He's really like a brother to me!☺☀

Smell of death...

My friend Dave arrived in Paris and he brought some of his amazing T-shirts from his skateboard brand "Smell of Death". And I finally got my "praise the lard" T-shirt I wanted for so long! Funny thing is he brought an XXL..I'm drowned in it but it's still so cool! All his designs are super rad and I like the fact that you can't get them anywhere. You just have to be lucky and meet the man and he'll nicely give them to you just because you're fun to hang with! such a positive non commercial way of thinking and "promoting" (which can be rare these days) Thanks Dave, you're a hero! XXX
